Meta-Model View
View your model as a Class diagram - showing the Element and Connector types
When you create a Meta-model, Model Expert looks at all the elements under the package you have chosen, and displays them as a meta-model diagram.
This shows the types and stereotypes you have used and their connectors, plus the attributes you have used.
The meta-model view can make it really obvious if:
- there are several different connector types that have been used between the same Element types – or they have been added with different directions
- there are some elements for which key fields have not been completed
- there are multiple different stereotypes
- there are orphan elements unconnected to the rest of the model
- and more…
You can tell how many connectors of each type there are by the thickness of the lines on the diagram
