What is a Managed Package?
A managed package is any package in your EA Repository which is associated with a Reference Model.
If a package is managed by Model Expert, users can only create elements and diagrams which are defined in the Reference Model, and connect them using relationships that the Reference Model allows.
Modellers will receive prompts if they try to create elements and relationships which are not in the Reference Model. Some element types that they add may also display a tailored UI, and customized help will provide even more contextual advice.
